As we approach the one-week mark in this new world reality I’ve noticed some new things that are becoming "the new reality". Listening and reading people’s post, video, comments and thoughts, this has become a new digital reality. Digital has been a part of daily life for almost everyone, but there still are some people who are disconnected. There are people who don’t have a cellphone, or don’t use it for something other than a phone. There are still people who don’t have internet, and others that do but don’t use it (or know how to use it) for daily life activities such as shopping, banking or understand the safety protocols they need. This is a good time to check on your family, friends and neighbours that may have some questions or need some help figuring some things out on matters that we take for granted. Philippians 2:4 says, “Don’t only look out for your own interests, but take an interest in others too.” Keep an eye out for those around you and let’s share God’s love in practical ways.
1 Peter 3:15–16 (NLT)
“… if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way.”
